Local Authority proposed changes to Post 16 Transport Policy for 2024/25

The Local Authority is consulting on the following proposed changes to its Post 16 Transport Policy for 2024/2025 and would welcome your feedback on the proposed policy.
 
  • The LA proposes that from September 2024 the Post 16 financial contribution towards the learner’s transport assistance will be paid by direct debit
  • The LA proposes that from September 2024 the Post 16 financial contribution towards the learner’s transport assistance will be reduced to £10.00 per week
 
The proposed policy sets out the LA’s criteria for determining eligibility for assistance with travel for young people aged 16-18 and for young people aged 19-24 with Special Educational Needs and/or Disability.
