Trauma Informed Schools

Dear Year 8 Parent/Carer

We have been involved in a number of different activities to try and support young people with the new normal following COVID.  The ImpactED surveys that students completed recently are helping us to develop new systems and schemes to engage young people in education so we value the information we collect.  

We have now been successful in being selected as one of the schools to take part in the Trauma Informed Schools project.  This research is commissioned by the Youth Endowment Fund and undertaken by Ipsos UK, TONIC and the University of Kent.  The leaflet explaining the project and the privacy notice are attached to this letter.  There is the option to opt out of the project, again this in the leaflet attached, but students can opt out at any time themselves until July 2025.  

Myself and Mrs Eriksson will be administering the surveys with the students in their Computer Science lesson week commencing 20 November 2023.  If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact enquiries@cityfields.outwood.com.
