We are delighted to work in partnership with our school meals provider
Caterlink, who prepare, cook, and serve from our onsite catering facility.
Caterlink provide a menu that is packed full of choice, and we encourage all our pupils to eat a rainbow of fruit and vegetables. We want to provide your child with a nutritious meal, but we also want them to have fun! Whether its National baking week or Best of British, Caterlink run themes to bring something new to the table for your child to try. Beyond the dining room, their dedicated Development Chefs offer classes to teach children the basics of cooking as well as food education assemblies in school on the importance of making healthy choices.
At Outwood Academy City Fields, we recognise the important connection between a healthy diet and a student’s ability to learn effectively. To reflect this, we have the following aims –
To ensure nutrition and a healthy diet has a prominent place in school life
- To offer healthy food and drink choices at all appropriate opportunities
- To increase student knowledge of different food types in the context of a balanced diet
- To ensure that food provision in the school reflects the ethical and medical requirements of staff and students (religious, ethical, vegetarian, medical and allergic needs)
Cater link are committed to providing suitable meals for all students. Please ensure that your child's allergy or dietary requirements have been registered at the school office.
If you have any questions about menus or queries relating to your child’s dietary requirements, you can speak to the School Office or our Regional Operations Manager, Neil Heslop on Email:
